Linda regularly runs 10 – 15 public and private dinners, pairing and tasting events for businesses, organizations, and individuals each month. May 2012 saw the launch of Alberta food and beverage magazine ‘Culinaire’, of which Linda is Editor-in-Chief/Publisher. She has earned a reputation as one of Calgary’s prime wine experts, educators, and influencers, speaking at functions all over the city as well as writing about wine and food. Saturday, June 20th, 10-4pm: Medieval & Geekfest – Help support MCC Team Canada attend the World Championships in Denmark this summer! A one-day family friendly event perfect for an early Fathers Day gift. Live Medieval Combat Demos, Cultural Market, Medieval Dance Lessons, Kids interactive zone, bar and concession service featuring Danish & Austrian favorites. $5 entry fee donated to MCC Team Canada. Wednesday, June 24th, 6:30pm: Scotch & Whiskey Tasting – in the Meixner Boardroom. Don’t miss this special event hosted by a local Kensington Wine Market (KWM) Scotch Specialist! An evening of Scotches & Whiskey’s selected specially for the Danish and Austrian Clubs from the KWM collection as well as a couple from the house bar. An opportunity to explore the flavors, aromas, and characters of each pour. Perhaps you are new to Scotch, Whiskey and want to learn what all the fuss is about; or perhaps you are experienced and ready to try something different. There is something for everyone here!
